VISION, MISSION, AND VALUES
Creative Stirling’s charitable objectives are for the advancement of the arts and education.
As part of our organisational restructure in 2022, Creative Stirling converted to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) and the trading arm Made in Stirling was constituted as a separate Community Interest Company, registered with Companies House. All profits from our trading company are paid annually to the charity, which wholly owns the Community Interest Company. Creative Stirling is the leaseholder for the property at 44 King Street and responsible for overall legal compliance and operational management. Made in Stirling CIC is responsible for the business aspect, in all trading activity for the venue and beyond, generating income from creative workshops, artist led events and space hire including affordable studio and office space for artists.
Since its foundation in 2012 Creative Stirling has delivered a range of activities based around three principles:
People: producing creative projects and events for people to enjoy
Partnerships: stimulating and nurturing creative opportunities for and with our network of communities
Place: driving and energising creative industry support through the city region and beyond.

Creative Stirling Strategic Aims
To increase space and means for our communities (local, rural and creative combined) to convene, to be aided to develop new collective leadership, uniting and amplifying their diversity of voices through arts, culture and creativity. We aspire to grow the reach of our ambitions for our people and our place, from a track record of success in this field of work. Founded at grass roots, we have also created the Forth Valley Creative Network, becoming a super connector and leader of local collaborative partnerships with academia and businesses as well as other community groups and third sector organisations. Connectivity is key to our place based purpose to support arts and culture in Stirling. Working with a diverse array of partners informs our goal to ultimately transform the cultural landscape of Stirling region as a place that effectively merges lived experiences with creative learning, knowledge and enterprise, at the heart of our city regions historical identity.
Our success in engaging with young people, the LGBT+ community and working with (majority female) grass roots creative entrepreneurs and others who are least well served in our communities of deprivation is central to our purpose and our proudest achievement.
More information about the Forth Valley Creative Network and our other strategic partnership projects will be included in our forthcoming new website which is currently in development.
