Creative Stirling are proud to be hosting Moon Tell Me Truth: an exhibition curated by The Hands Up Project. Children in occupied Gaza were invited to write poems inspired by two paintings. Their poems were submitted to a competition run by The Hands Up Project - an organisation that supports creative expression among children in Palestine. The selected poems were brought together in a book, “Moon Tell Me Truth”, alongside the original paintings and illustrations by the young poets themselves.
Now, their poems, paintings, and drawings have become an exhibition, travelling across the UK and beyond. At rallies and public events, the poems are read aloud. In galleries and community spaces, they are displayed as powerful testaments to creative spirit, grief, and resistance.
The exhibition runs from June 19th to July 17th and is available to view 10am-5pm 7 days a week in the Creative Stirling Venue (upstairs in Made in Stirling store).
