Join us for a free creative workshop designed with and for young people aged 13–25 who have experienced discrimination, marginalisation, or other barriers and challenges.

This session is part of our Defining Spaces project, which creates opportunities for young people to develop new skills, connect with others, explore ideas around equality, and build confidence to thrive.

World Building: Create Your Own Sci-Fi or Superhero Universe

Ever wanted to build a world like Spider-Verse, Star Trek, X-Men, or the DC Universe?

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to design, organise, and bring your own fictional world to life, whether that’s for:

• Character design

• Creative writing

• Comic books

• Animation

• Game development

• Filmmaking

Together, we’ll explore the worlds we love, discuss what makes them powerful, and think creatively and critically about how to build our own.

A Safe, Peer-Led Creative Space

This workshop will be led by a member of the Creative Stirling Volunteer Steering Group and is designed as a safe, welcoming space where young people can connect, create, and share ideas.

No experience needed, just bring your imagination. All materials will be provided.

Spaces are free, but booking is required.
