CAMM the documentary
Hi guys this is Jamie Cramb from “Cramb in Creative”! If you haven’t listened to my show just yet, then what are you doing?! It’s out every Thursday at 3' o’clock on Stirling Community Radio.
When I was talking about the movie day on the 10th of May and I went over the showing of the documentary film DAHOMEY, I said that I was making a documentary for Creative Stirling, and it is for our Community and Media Matters course, or “CAMM” for short.
I completed the course last year, and I really enjoyed it. Now, I am working in Creative Stirling as an intern. CAMM has been running as a course by Creative Stirling for a while now, so we feel that we need to promote it more for people who don’t know what’s it about and get more people involved in the project. The documentary will be about what the course can do for you in the future, as it will give you experience on how to do radio or podcasting and will is taught by the one, the only, Ryan Rocks (who will be in the documentary) and knows it might make you to want to get involved.
We are still in the early stages of making it but here’s a quick rundown of what we have done so far,
1. We got a film camera. (duh)
2. We’ve got a planned script. We are sure there are going to be changes as it goes along, but the script we have right now is just a first draft.
3. Do we know how to work with the editing WWWEEEELLLLLLLL no not yet anyways but I am sure will know how to work with it as it goes along.
4. We have a cast- me, Ryan Rocks, and TJ so far.
5. We have a storyboard of the shots that we might use.
We still in early production for it but I will possibly update you all about the progress of the documentary as we develop it throughout the next few months. We are also wondering if you might want to take part in it! Maybe, and this only for the people who have done/will be doing the course, you could be part of an interview to talk about you and what you have done in the course, but only if you want to.
I haven’t done a blog in a while because I have extremely busy with my show and planning the documentary but thank you for reading and I will update you all soon about the CAMM documentary.
See you soon,
Jamie.
