Volunteer Guitar Tutor Opportunity with Creative Stirling & 12 Guitars

Location: Stirling 

Description:

Are you passionate about music and eager to share your skills with others? Creative Stirling are seeking a dedicated individual to volunteer as a guitar tutor to support aspiring young musicians in our community. As a volunteer guitar tutor, you will have the opportunity to mentor our beginner students and helping them develop their musical abilities and achieve their goals. Our beginner group runs alongside our intermediate group, delivered by 12 Guitars tutor Steve.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver group guitar lessons to students.

- Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

- Teach fundamental techniques, chords, scales, and music theory.

- Offer guidance on practicing effectively and developing good playing habits.

- Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in playing the guitar.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience and empathy for learners of all ages and abilities.

- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required.

Time Commitment:

Sessions run Fridays 16:30-17:30.
